This season, the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province have been relying upon SKINS Compression garments for all their compression and recovery kit needs.

SKINS Compression, as the teams official compression and recovery garment supplier, have been providing the players with garments for gamedays and in training with the results clear to see all season.

DHL Stormers Head Coach John Dobson said: “Having an innovative partner like SKINS is key to ensuring that the players can perform their best on the field and also recover effectively from their demanding schedule.

“We play in three different professional competitions, so recovery has become even more important. It is great to know that we have the backing of an established partner like SKINS to help us perform better and recover faster,” he said.

SKINS CCO, Simon Goodfellow said: “We make athletes of all levels perform better by knowing what pressure to apply and where to apply it on the body. This naturally enhances blood circulation, limits the damage during training and playing from muscle vibration leading to quicker recovery time.”

“The active compression wraps the muscles, providing necessary structural support and dampening damaging muscle vibrations. With our current compression products, we established training and recovery protocols for the teams to ensure on-field performance and recovery is optimised for the players.

“In addition, we have an innovation pipeline of products for the next five years and the Stormers will benefit from enhanced recovery and protection of the active muscle groups,” he said.
