19 August 2015 – The winds of change are sweeping across Loftus Versfeld and supporters will get to run with the Blue Bulls with the improved Blue Bulls App.

Like the team, the Blue Bulls App powered by Vodacom, has gone through various face-lifts and improvements just in time for the start of Absa Currie Cup season.

Supporting one of South Africa’s leading rugby teams has just become a little bit more exciting and Vodacom intends to make it even better with the help of the fans.

Vodacom would like to “Beef Up” the App and supporters can now make their suggestions on how to make it even better, and by doing so stand a chance to win tickets to Vodacom Blue Bulls home games.

Everything they need to enhance the fan experience is only a touch and a swipe away as the App gives insight into what is happening between the four lines.

By downloading the App, Vodacom Blue Bulls fans will have access to a real time match centre which includes commentary, match-day statistics and player bios.

Game day will never be the same as the count-down clock and score updates will reflect the state of play.

The blow-by-blow commentary, vital statistics such as possession, territory and a breakdown of the scoring gives Vodacom BlueBulls supporters all the information they need about the action taking place between those four white lines.

The App will also be a platform for the supporters to have their say as they will get to select the Fans Man of the Match for all Vodacom Blue Bulls home games during Absa Currie Cup games.

Fans will get to select their Man of the Match from the drop-down menu and stand a chance to win the opportunity to hand over the Fans Man of the Match trophy. The lucky fan will also win a match ball signed by the Vodacom Blue Bulls team.

The Vodacom Blue Bulls is not merely a team, it is a home to the extended family of supporters.

We will also be introducing the Vodacom RuggaChat to the App, where fans will be given the opportunity to pose questions to the Vodacom Blue Bulls players, which will be answered in a Q&A hosted in the Video section of the App.

The team sheets for the two starting XV’s on the day can be accessed while the App also has listings where an overview of specific players with their bio and stats are available.
