After a convincing victory over SWD Eagles this past weekend, it didn’t take long for the focus to switch over to this week’s crucial match against Border.

Two injuries to last week’s man of the match, SP Marais and hard-running JC Engelbrecht, sees Boetie Brits getting his first start of the season and Mzwandile Stick also slotting into the starting line up.

Kings coach, Alan Solomons, is looking forward to this week’s match and believes that the loss of regular starters, JC Engelbrecht, SP Marais and Clint Newland will not disrupt the make-up and focus of the team.

Vice-Captain, Mzwandile Stick further stated “there isn’t much that’s going with our approach to this week’s match, the squad has been working together for a while now and everyone understands the system and their roles in the team”.

The match promises to be an entertaining affair with Border wanting to exact revenge for their first round loss to the Kings in East London.
