24 FEBRUARY 2017 – The 2017 Vodacom Super Rugby season is officially underway this weekend and fans can anticipate an all-out South African offence when the Southern Hemisphere’s rugby showpiece kicks off.

This weekend the North-South derby between the Vodacom Bulls and the DHL Stormers will be the highlight an exciting opening weekend that includes two mouth-watering derbies. In the other all-South-African clash, the Toyota Cheetahs and the Emirates Lions will have their claws out for their cat fight in Bloemfontein. The Southern Kings will host the Jaguares while the Cell C Sharks will play the Reds in Australia to get their campaign started.

While the rugby teams will be scoring on the field in 2017, Vodacom Red clients will be reaping the rewards from the sidelines. Every year, fans expect their Super Rugby team to up their performance and this year Vodacom has also stepped up to the plate by offering Vodacom Red packages that reward Super Rugby fans. Not only will Vodacom Red clients receive exclusive benefits like priority in-store queuing and dedicated call centre agents, they will also receive a South African Super Rugby team jersey of their choice delivered straight to their door when they sign up to any Vodacom Red package or upgrade their existing Vodacom Red package.

As an added bonus, Vodacom will also be rewarding Red clients this Super Rugby season through twelve unique, once-in-a-lifetime rugby experiences taking place around the country. Visit vodacom.co.za/red for details on how to enter.

It has been six years since South Africa had a Vodacom Super Rugby champion, and in the second year of the expanded competition, local teams are expected to up the ante.

Vodacom Super Rugby is here and you can expect more action on the field this season and expect more than just a contract from SA’s first and best 4G network.
