Less Than 1 week to SA’s Most EPIC Sport and Lifestyle Event

(February 2016) Brace yourself, The takealot.com Cape Town 10s is a drop kick away! Taking place on 5 & 6 February 2016 at Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point, this year’s event is going to be the most epic event the Mother City has ever witnessed!

There are loads of new additions to this year’s takealot.com Cape Town 10s tournament; beach volleyball has been introduced which includes the Flying Fish Pro Beach Volleyball Series. There is the ‘Live The 10s Rugby Village’ which provides the opportunity for spectators and players alike to stay on-sight at the tournament. There will be loads of spot prizes and exciting activations, celebs galore and a great entertainment line-up inside Africa’s biggest beer tent. There will be free Wi-Fi available at the event so be sure to post your favourite moments of the day on the social media platforms; don’t forget to tag #takealot10s on your posts. Over 25 000 people attended the last event – if you you’re looking for the most exhilarating weekend of your life, you’ll need to pre-book tickets right away to avoid FOMO and a 500 metre line at the gate!

Fans from across SA can expect to see some of the biggest rugby legends in action including Bob Skinstad, Robbie Fleck, Butch James, Josh Lewsey, Shane Byrne and James Dalton. There will also be a bucket load of awesome celebrities taking part including former Miss SA Cindy-Nell, Jack Parow, Francois van Coke, comedian Siv Ngesi and some of SA’s favourite DJ’s: Ayanda Tini, Tammy B, Carl Wastie, Kia Johnson and Zoe Brown!

Whether you’re a keen sport enthusiast, a serial celeb stalker or just keen on ‘making name’ and throwing back a few cold ones – 10s will certainly be for you. The festivities kick off on Friday with the sport action happening from 9am. You can catch amazing live performances on Friday from Good Luck, Just Jinjer and Dj Sox to name a few; what better way to kick-start your weekend festivities?
