Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has made three changes to the side starting team that beat the Bulls for this week’s match against the Sharks in Durban on Friday.

The Highlanders had a bye last week and Joseph has named Jarrad Hoeata to replace Brad Thorn in the second row after Thorn suffered a season ending injury in the team’s last outing.

Nasi Manu returns from the reserves back to his starting position at 8 seeing Elliot Dixon move to the blindside flank with Gareth Evans heading to the reserves.

Joseph has retained the backline that played against the Bulls.
