Free State Cheetahs (Pty) Ltd has secured the services of two talented players. Jaques du Toit and Malcolm Jaer have resigned their contracts with the Toyota Cheetahs and Toyota Free State Cheetahs.

Hooker, Jacques du Toit has extended his contract until 2019 and has represented the Toyota Cheetahs in 14 Guinness PRO14 matches and 8 Super Rugby matches so far. He played in 14 Currie Cup matches for the Toyota Free State Cheetahs, including the semifinal against the Lions in Bloemfontein and in the home final against the Blue Bulls. (2016 Currie Cup champions). The fullback Malcolm Jaer, has signed for another two years and will be with the Toyota Cheetahs until 2020.
