Lions INJURY UPDATE: Vodacom Super Rugby Week 3

Loading...The Lions medical staff have released an injury update, following the team’s 34-10 victory over the DHL Stormers at Ellis Park on Saturday.
Fortunately, only one serious injury was sustained during the tremendously physical encounter. Vice-captain Derick Minnie fractured his cheek bone during a collision with Schalk Burger, however the Lions medical staff are positive he will make a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, loose forward Willie Britz has recovered from his hip flexor injury and will be considered for selection ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Vodacom Bulls.
