Loftus turns Red with Rewards

Loading...LOFTUS VERSFELD, PRETORIA, 26 September 2017 – Vodacom invited their Red clients to an exclusive Vodacom Red #BullsFamily Fun Day at Loftus on Saturday, 23 September 2017. This is where their passion and pride for the Vodacom Blue Bulls team was rewarded with a day out for the whole family. The #BullsFamily event gave Blue Bulls fans the opportunity to live out their childhood dreams by being on the same field where their heroes play, at fortress Loftus. “It truly was a great experience interacting with the #BullsFamily. Without our fans and Vodacom, none of this would have been possible” – Abongile Nonkontwana (Vodacom Blue Bulls player).
The kids had entertainment cut out of a fantasy world, every child’s face was transformed into magical creatures and majestic butterflies, stilt walkers were twisting and turning balloons and creating the most fascinating animals and toys for the kids to play with. The Blue Bulls jumping castle offered them a playground they could literally get lost in.

Girls and boys got to test their gladiator skills on their very own inflatable arena. If that wasn’t enough to fight off the sugar rush, they even got to play rugby with their Blue Bulls rugby heroes. The fun and games were certainly not restricted to the kids, there were loads of prizes to be won in the mini golf challenge, and there was everything from a backpack to a braai set tucked away in the Vodacom Red Locker, just waiting to be won. Even the Vodacom Red Lifeguards were in no short supply to attend to the guests every need, from applying sunscreen to charging phones.
Loftus Versfeld painted the perfect picture for a perfect picnic setup, giving everyone the chance to kick back, relax and take their shoes off and walk on the hallowed turf, and then fill their baskets with the most delectable treats imaginable. Every tickle and taste was catered for in our food truck village from burgers to boeries, to tacos and treats, and there was an abundance of drinks and dessert. Guests were exhilarated by the idea that they too could experience the feeling of being on the pitch at Loftus, while being spoilt to no end. There was definitely a festive feeling in the air.
Hosts Mack Rapapali and the beautiful Liesl Laurie (Jacaranda FM) ensured that the guests never missed a beat, opening the stage for Daniel Baron who filled the stadium with his incredibly talented ensemble, wowing the crowd and setting the scene for a great afternoon with great food, great music and great people. “I loved every second, and would love to have another Vodacom Red #BullsFamily Fun Day! The laugher of the kids and parents having fun really stood out for me” – Mack Rapapali.
To make sure the rugby fans didn’t miss any Currie Cup action, the game between the Vodacom Blue Bulls and the Cell C Sharks was shown on the stadium big screen. Even though the result did not go in the favour of the boys in blue, it did little to dampen the spirits of the guests on the day.
Everyone was a VIP at the Vodacom Red #BullsFamily Fun Day, including Karlien van Jaarsveld who brought her own growing #BullsFamily along to share in the excitement and her boys had an absolute blast in the blazing Pretoria sunshine. The Blue Bulls management and players, along with their families, took this unique opportunity to get to know their loyal fans. “Today was a great experience, I brought my son and wife with me and they truly enjoyed themselves. The #BullsFamily concept strives to bring people together and the Vodacom Red #BullsFamily Fun Day achieved just that with hundreds of people taking a day out to laugh, play and spend time with the people who mean the most to them.
