Sharks coach John Plumtree has made some changes to his side that drew 30 all against the Lions as they prepare for their do-or-die match against the Vodacom Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

The biggest change comes with French import Frederic Michalak starting at flyhalf ahead of Lambie. This however sees Patrick Lambie move to fullback while regular fullback Louis Ludik will drop to the bench.

The other changes include Bok captain John Smit being dropped to the bench for Bismarck du Plessisis. Jean Deysel also served out his 2-week suspension and moves straight into the starting line-up at number 7. This means that Keegan Daniel will shift to the other side of the scrum ahead of Jacques Botes who drops out of the match 22 completely. Kankowski stays at number 8 with Willem Albert providing cover on the bench  for both 7 and 8.
