Morahan to depart Force at season end

Loading...The Road Safety Western Force can confirm that winger Luke Morahan will leave the club at the end of the 2017 Vodafone Super Rugby season, to further his career at Bristol Rugby in the English Premiership.
Morahan has played 38 games for the Western Australian club to date since defecting from the Queensland Reds in 2014. Scoring 11 tries, including a club-high five tries in the 2015 season.
The 4-time capped Wallaby says that the decision to leave WA was a difficult one, but believes it’s the best choice to further his rugby career.
“This has been a really tough decision for me, as I have loved my time in WA playing for the Road Safety Western Force,” he said.
“For now my focus is on working hard to ensure we have a great Super Rugby campaign and to play the kind of rugby our fans are proud of.
“I have developed and improved as a player since playing at the Force, and believe that the club is heading in a really exciting direction and I wish them all the success in the future.”
Morahan is set to line up for the Road Safety Western Force in this Friday’s match against the Crusaders in Christchurch.
