This visa is for professional and amateur sportspeople, judges and adjudicators who want to come to Australia to participate in their field of sport and entitles the holder to the following rights:
•  stay in Australia for the period of the nominated position, with a maximum stay of two years
•  do the work or activity specified in the nomination
•  bring eligible family members to Australia
•  enter and leave Australia while the visa is valid.

The NSW Waratahs would like to thank all parties, particularly the Department of Immigration, for their diligent efforts in reaching this outcome.
