Loading...The Girls’ U19 National Sevens Championships kicked off on Thursday morning at the Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani.
West Pokot’s Nasokol started the day’s action with a 31-5 upset result over favorites Barchando. Nasokol pumped in five tries and three conversions to Barchando’s solitary unconverted effort.
Other fixtures saw Muthambi edge Itigo 17-12 as Olympic registered a 24-0 result over Mghalu as Rena beat Mbogori 24-5.
Action continues at this tournament which is part of the action at the Safari Sevens which officially kicks off on Friday at the same venue.
