Sunnybank v Easts | Oldmac Oval, 3:20 pm – Game of the Round LIVE Stream Broadcast

The Dragons host the Tigers in Queensland Premier Rugby’s Game of the Round this Saturday. Easts are clinging onto the all-important fourth place, despite losing to Norths 29-24 last weekend. Sunnybank is in a similar situation after a 35-17 loss against Wests in Round 14. Easts will be placing an increased emphasis on this fixture with a win allowing them to leap over Sunnybank on the ladder and take the third position. With finals only four weeks away, both teams will be desperate for competition points to secure their spot. If you can’t make it out to Oldmac Oval to see this make-or-break clash, be sure to catch the game on the LIVE stream via redsrugby.com.au or Facebook LIVE.

Norths v Brothers | Hugh Courtney Oval, 3:50 pm – LIVE Streamed

Norths welcome the Brethren to Hugh Courtney Oval this weekend as the Eagles host their Family Day celebrations. Norths will enter the clash with confidence after securing a 29-24 upset victory over Easts last weekend. The last time the two met, the Brethren narrowly escaped with a 22-21 victory at Crosby Park. Norths have proven on multiple occasions that they can be unstoppable on their day, especially with their Eagles fan base behind them. GPS v Bond University | Yoku Road, 3:20 pm

Although these two sides are on opposite ends of the Queensland Premier Rugby ladder, Bond University will sense an opportunity on Saturday. Last weekend, Bond secured a one-point victory over Brothers at Crosby Park, a ground notoriously hard to play at. Another challenge awaits them at Yoku Road with the in-form Gallopers hoping for a repeat of their clash in Round 2 where GPS came away with a 50-7 victory. With finals looming, GPS will be looking for a comprehensive victory to further cement their position in the top two before they face a challenging run into the finals.

GPS: Laione Mulikihaamea, Ryan Freney, Frederick Burke, Daniel Byrne, Daniel Gorman, Waita Setu, Conor Cowhig, Jay Havelu, Nick Frisby, AJ Alatimu, Reece Cleeton, Maaloga Konelio, Patrick Nicholson, Eric Vasukicakau, Todd Winkley

Souths v University of Queensland | Chipsy Wood Oval, 3:20pm

The Magpies welcome the Red Heavies to Chipsy Wood Oval this Saturday as the club hosts it’s annual Old Boys Day celebrations. UQ have been unstoppable this year and are yet to be beaten in twelve matches. The fixture presents itself as one of the biggest challenges Souths have faced all year. With two losses in a row to Sunnybank and GPS, Souths will need to correct their defence if they hope to contain the Red Heavies. An upset victory would keep Souths finals hopes alive but a loss may mean they are too far behind to catch up.

Souths: Alex Casey, Maile Ngauamo, Jake Simeon, Matthew Bennett, Stuart Williamson, Simana Halaifonua, Loveni Enari, Michael Tafili, Scott Malolua, Paul Brown, Jayden Ngamanu
Levi Aumua, Christopher Feauai-Sautia, Niko Bueta, Semiti Tela

Coach: Elia Tuqiri

Universty of Queensland: Thomas Mellor, Campbell Wakely, Hamish Richardson, Phil Potgieter, Harry Hockings, Max Singh, Jack de Guingand, Jack Cornelsen, Tate McDermott, James Dalgleish, Harry Parker, Alex Horan, Josh Birch, Jock Campbell, Nathan Russell

Coach: Mick Heenan
