The Round 4 Game of the Round will see the Red Heavies welcome the Gallopers to Stade de Heavy. Both teams enter this match undefeated and can gain an early lead on the competition with a win on Saturday. Coming off the bye, the refreshed Red Heavies have posted 114 points from their two matches to claim two convincing victories. GPS’ have been just as dominant since kicking their season off in Round 2. After thumping Bond University on the Gold Coast, GPS came away with a resounding victory over Souths on Saturday. Led by a ferocious forward pack, the Gallopers are now faced with their sternest test yet. If you can’t make it to the game, be sure to tune into the live stream via redsrugby.com.au and Facebook LIVE as both teams look to continue their unbeaten run.

Brothers vs Norths, Crosby Park, 3.20pm
The Brethren return home to host their Northern rival at Crosby Park. Brothers are coming off an exhausting 14-all draw on the Gold Coast and will be hungry for their second win. Two weeks ago, at home, Brothers came away with a 36-20 win over Wests. The Brethren faithful will anticipate a similar result but the Eagles are desperate after a shaky start to the season. While Norths are yet to register their first win, there is a noticeable improvement in their performances. The Eagles have now had three matches to build new combinations and shape their structures, there will be no excuses this Saturday in Albion.

Easts vs Sunnybank, David Wilson Field, 3.20pm
The undefeated Tigers return to David Wilson Field full of confidence after an impressive 38-26 victory over Norths away from home. They’ve already knocked off the defending champions and will look to add last year’s third-placed finishers to that list. A win on Saturday will see Easts leapfrog the loser of the top-of-the-table clash between UQ and GPS. But, the Dragons are no easy task and will seek redemption after last week’s loss to Wests. At home, Sunnybank was handed their first loss and will be hurting because of it. The loser of this encounter could sit outside the top four by the end of the weekend so this match carries added weight. The two clubs will also be competing for the Rick Tyrrell Cup, raising awareness for mental health with the help of the Rugby Unite charity.

Souths vs Bond University, Chipsy Wood Oval, 3.20pm
After a surprisingly slow start to the 2017 season, Souths will be eagerly searching for their first win when they host Bond University at Chipsy Wood. The Magpies must tighten up their defence because they’ve leaked points in the opening three rounds and haven’t been able to respond at the other end. As one of two teams yet to register a win, the Magpies will be desperate but Bond University have shown promise at times. Last week, Bond had the defending champions beat before a late try levelled the scores at 14-all. Their defence was rock solid prior to that and they’ll definitely gather momentum from that performance. Sitting just one point outside the top four, Bond University can secure their second win if they knock off the Magpies.

Souths: Paulo Leleisiuao, Maile Ngauamo, Alex Casey, Declan Dinnen, Bruce Stuart Williamson, Caleb Timu, Simana Halaifonua, Michael Tafili, Lachlan Gray, Jake Milne, Mikaele Tela, Paul Brown, Rapheal Evalu, Keeghan Sefton, Semiti Tela.
Coach: Elia Tuqiri

Bond University: Samual Clifton, Benjamin Hunt, Peryhn Martin, Rubin Fuimaono, Cadeyrn Neville, Callum McDonald, Joel Brown, Tainui Ford, Vincent Quigley, Mitch Third, Oscar Dennis, Scott Daruda, Fredrich, Adam Higgins, Michael Marshall.
Coach: Sean Hedger
