The rugby world is shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of ex All Black captain and true rugby legend Jerry Collins.
Collins, 34, and his wife, Alana Madill, died in a car accident in Beziers, France. Their three month old daughter, Alya,  survived the crash and was airlifted in a critical condition.
The car they were traveling in came to a sudden stop on the motorway and was struck by a bus.
The hard hitting flanker played 48 Tests for the All Blacks between 2001 and 2007, 85 matches for the Hurricanes and 47 for Wellington.
