The St.George Queensland Reds have announced an unchanged side to play the Cheetahs at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday.

Reds co-interim head coach Nick Stiles said: “We played well in patches in South Africa but we were disappointed not to get the results we were after. We were able to push two good teams, away from home in hostile environments, we just need to deliver an 80-minute performance.

“The Cheetahs are a good side and we’ve had some close matches with them in recent years. The group’s sole focus this week has been on preparing well to deliver a performance we and our fans can we proud of.”

The Reds face the Cheetahs at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday, 30 April, at Suncorp Stadium at 7:45pm (AEST). The match will be broadcast live on Fox Sports.

This season sees the return of charitable initiative ‘Be Great, Do Good’, with Reds teammates Cadeyrn Neville and Ben Matwijow wearing unique headgear each week to support different charities by raising funds and awareness for their cause.

The initiative was founded by Reds prop Ben Daley, who will continue to support the charities despite missing four months due to injury.

This week the players will wear headgear in support of the ConnecTeD Foundation – which supports those effected by connective tissue disorders.
