Loading...Outside back Marquit September has been named in the Vodacom Blue Bulls team to play the Steval Pumas in a Currie Cup qualifier on Friday in Pretoria.
September was a regular feature for the Blue Bulls in last year’s Vodacom Cup, but now makes a first appearance in this year’s Currie Cup competition.
Coach Hendré Marnitz also recalled the likes of Tapiwa Tsomondo and Entienne Swanepoel, who missed last weekend’s match against the EP Kings.
Kick-off is at 15h00.
The team is: Duncan Matthews, Kefentse Mahlo, Alcino Isaacs, Marquit September, Jade Stighlingh, Joshua Stander, Andre Warner, Ruan Steenkamp (c), Freddy Ngoza, Tapiwa Tsomondo, Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg, Aston Fortuin, Entienne Swanepoel, Corniel Els, Nqobisizwe Mxoli. Replacements: Jan van der Merwe, Njabulo Gumede, Abongile Nonkontwana, Clyde Davids, Ivan van Zyl, Kurt Webster, Divan Rossouw.
