NJURY REPORT

Durban, 25 March 2014: The Cell C Sharks take on the Waratahs this Saturday at Growthpoint KINGS PARK and will be determined to display a positive performance against a strong Waratahs outfit that are on a roll thus far in the competition.

Ahead of this weekend’s match, Dr Alan Kourie, The Cell C Sharks Team Doctor, has released a medical update on Pat Lambie and Cobus Reinach, who both left the field injured during the first 10 minutes of the match against the Bulls.

Name of Player Injury
Patrick Lambie – Diagnosed with a torn bicep tendon;
– Will undergo surgery later this week;
– Out for approximately six months.
Cobus Reinach – Fractured hand;
– Underwent surgery yesterday;
– Out for approximately eight weeks.

Despite this crucial setback, the Cell C Sharks have strong depth and new opportunities will certainly be presented to the youngsters in our squad, who have the chance to make their mark in the competition.

We look forward to a titanic battle at Growthpoint KINGS PARK this Saturday.
