Sibusiso Sithole try caught on camera by Andrew Schoeman/Rugby15The Sharks returned to winning ways when they beat the Vodacom Blue Bulls 39-27 in a high-scoring and fast-paced match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.

The Sharks looked the better team for most of the match and led 23-15 at half time thanks to 3 long-range penalties from Meyer Bosman and a well worked try from Springbok Sevens star Sibusiso Sithole. Craig Burden also crashed through the Bulls defensive lines to get on the scoreboard. The Blue Bulls points came through Warwick Tecklenburg and Bjorn Basson tries and a Louis Fouche penalty.

The second half was dominated by the Sharks and FredericMichalak quickly added three easy penalties to take the game away from the Bulls. Lwazi Mvovo made sure that the game was in the bag minutes later when he scored a runaway try from a turnover.

In a late comeback the Blue Bulls scored a try through CJ Stander before Bjorn Basson muscled himself over after the hooter has gone to get the Bulls at least a four-try bonus point.

The Sharks seemed to find space out wide with ease while the Bulls fly-half Louis Fouche had a sub-standard performance with the boot.
