Loading...Springbok fans could win the experience of a life time when they get a behind the scenes glimpse of what happens before and during rugby Tests.
The SuperFans will get to experience a whole lot of awesomeness as they will have front-row seats of what goes on in and around the stadium in the build up and after matches during the Castle Lager Incoming Series in June.
The Springboks will take on Italy at Growthpoint Kings Park in Durban on Saturday, 8 June in their opening match of the unprecedented double-header rugby tournament which also involves Samoa and Scotland. The tournament will then move to Nelspruit on 15 June where the first round’s fixtures are reversed with the Springboks facing Scotland and Samoa taking on Italy in the Mbombela Stadium.
These matches will set the stage for what promises to be an epic day of rugby at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on 22 June where the two teams that finish with the most points in the Series will go head-to-head in the main match. The third and fourth placed teams will keep spectators entertained before the Castle Incoming Series reaches a climax in the final.
Castle Lager — the beer behind the boys – offer SuperFans various unique experiences which include a change room tour, behind the scenes tour and a pitch experience. On the tour of the stadium the day before the Test match, a rugby legend will take fans on an excursion through the stadium and into the change room where players prepare for battle.
The Friday experience will be rounded off with a viewing of the captain’s practice in the comfort of the SAB suite with an ice cold beer in hand. On game day they will be hosted in the Castle Corner Village where they can take in the vibe with other dedicated fans. The memories of these experiences will be documented in a unique way as SuperFans will be invited for group photos on the field during the half-time break of the Springbok Tests.
With the second package on offer, SuperFans will be able to experience the hustle and bustle of the goings-on around the stadium on game day. They will be taken on a Behind the Scenes tour of areas fans would normally not have access to.
SuperFans will check out the commentator box where they will get a perspective of what an unbelievable view the likes of Hugh Bladen has of the match. To further psyche them up for the Test, they will receive a pep talk from a coach, while they will also get glimpse of how the matches are brought to television viewers when they visit the outside broadcast van.
The third prize on offer, will see SuperFans get an up close and personal pitch experience for these epic matches. SuperFans will have access to the tunnel and pitch on match day, before, during and after the Springbok Test. This will include access to the Man-of-the-Match presentation and a field “walk-around” between the matches to soak up the vibe.
