Tickets for the Western Force’s two pre-season fixtures against the ACT Brumbies this Friday, 23 January and Asia Pacific Dragons (Saturday, 31 January) are now available.

Tickets can be purchased in the Western Force Team Store (203 Underwood Ave, Floreat) and at the gate on the day of the match.

The pre-season fixtures will be the first opportunity for the passionate ‘Sea of Blue’ to see the Western Force in action in 2015 as the club enters its 10th season of Asteron Life Super Rugby.

The first match will pit the Force against the Brumbies, who have contested the past two Asteron Life Super Rugby finals series, while the Asia Pacific Dragons is an invitational team that features experienced players with exciting up-and-coming talent from Asia and the Pacific, and will be coached by All Blacks legend, Tana Umaga.

Both matches will be held at McGillivray Oval at Mt Claremont’s UWA Sports Park, with each match kicking off at the family-friendly time of 5pm. Ticket prices are adults $15; concession $10 and children under the age of 16 are admitted free.

Western Force CEO Mark Sinderberry said he is excited to see the Western Australian rugby community ‘fill the hill’ at both matches.

“We had a fantastic atmosphere at McGillivray Oval for the Perth Spirit last year and we’d love to see all our passionate and enthusiastic supporters there when we take on the Brumbies and Asia Pacific Dragons,” he said.

“This is the first chance for our fans to see the team in action as we head into our 10th season of Asteron Life Super Rugby. The team returned the best season in the club’s history last year and are now very determined to back that season up on the field in 2015.

”We’re bringing two exciting teams to Perth in our pre-season; the Brumbies have been one of the form Australian sides over the past three seasons, while the Asia Pacific Dragons will bring with them a number of faces familiar to Test and Super Rugby.

“We’re very excited about the season ahead and we’d love everyone to join us during the pre-season for the first part of this year’s journey.”

With the UWA Sports Park precinct hosting several other events on both weekends, attendees are recommended to arrive early. Overflow parking for the second trial against the Asia Pacific Dragons will be available via Brockway Road.
