In what promise to be an epic derby, the two neighbouring sides, the Windhoek Draught Griquas Toyota Cheetahs will be facing each other in Kimberley on Saturday, 28 May. The action kicks off at 14:30 and the match will be live on SuperSport.

Coach Hawies Fourie announced his team with only two changes to the starting line-up.

Clayton Blommetjies returns from injury with Cohen Jasper providing cover on the bench for the outside backs. Cameron Dawson will be wearing the number 1 jersey with Alulutho Tshakweni on reserve.

“The Griquas, together with the Pumas and Sharks, are under pressure to qualify for the third and fourth place and they will be desperate to win, which makes them a dangerous side.” Said, Coach Hawies Fourie.

“Griquas played good rugby so far this year and we won’t underestimate them.”

“We are also well prepared for the match. On our side we are competing against the Bulls for the first place on the log, so we have a lot to play for and we’ll be as desperate for a win.”
