The Toyota Free State Cheetahs will be taking on Western Province on Friday evening at 19:10 in the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein. The head coach, Franco Smith announced his team for the encounter.

Changes to the team:

· BG Uys replaces Caylib Oosthuizen on prop
· Oosthuizen moves to the bench on Maks van Dyk’s place
· Tienie Burger is not included in the team due to an injury
· Tertius Kruger is new on the bench

Previous encounters:

Since 31 August 1894, the Toyota Free State Cheetahs (Free State) and Western Province had 95 Currie Cup encounters of which WP won 60 and the Cheetahs won 32 and three was a draw. Two of the matches were Currie Cup finals and four were semi-finals.

Curtain raisers:

Gates open at 14:00 and at 15:00 the Toyota Free State Cheetahs will be taking on their opponents from Western Province. The u.21 game kicks off at 16:40. Beeskraal will provide entertainment on the Castle Deck after the match.

Tickets and discount:

Tickets for the match are R60 for the main stand, R50 for adults on the open stand. Students pay R30 and kids only pay R10 on the open stand. Adults and students get R10 discount per ticket purchased at the ticket office before match day.
