The Toyota Cheetahs, with the help of SA Rugby, the Vodacom Bulls, Cell C Sharks, DHL Stormers, Emirates Lions and clubs, have made this special game between the Toyota Cheetahs and the Toyota Invitational team a reality.

The Toyota Cheetah Challenge match will kick-off on Saturday, 29 May at 16:00 in Toyota Stadium.

The selected players gathered in Bloemfontein on Wednesday and Thursday and worked under the guidance of two very experienced coaches, namely Ricardo Loubscher, former Springbok assistant coach and Springbok scrum coach Daan Human.

This game will give quality players on the fringes of their respective SA franchise teams some quality game time while the Toyota Cheetahs get to prepare against top opposition for the upcoming Currie Cup competition.

As per the current Covid protocols, no spectators are allowed but SuperSport will broadcast the match on SuperSport at 16:00.

Jaco Peyper is the referee for the match. He will be assisted by Paul Mente and Mpho Matsaung. The TMO is Ben Crause.
