Vodacom Superugby makes #FanUp winners dreams come true

Loading...Dreams do come true, especially for the Vodacom VIP Experience winners. Not only did they get to walk onto the Loftus pitch and see their heros but also got to watch their beloved Vodacom Bulls beat the Cell C Sharks 43 – 35 to record their first win of the season.
Winner, Mom Coleen, nominated her sons Kevin (15) and Nathan (6) to take part in this once in a lifetime experience. Both boys who clearly have rugby in their blood got the opportunity to go onto the sacred Loftus turf and soak up the atmosphere on Saturday.
The game went right down to the wire in what was a terrific spectical. Coleen got to share this with her husband, Kevin senior, and sons. “It was nail biting in the last few minutes but the Bulls pulled through…They (boys) are all still talking about their special day.”
Kevin played for the u13 Kavaliers Blue Bull Team and the u14 Blue Bull team in 2013 and 2014 respectively. His inspiration is Pierre Spies and Marcel van der Merwe, who happens to play the same position as him.
This was Nathan’s first visit to Loftus to watch a match. He did however play Bulletjie Rugby there in 2014 where he was the top try scorer for his team scoring a phenomenal 70 tries. Nathan, who turns seven in two weeks, previously made it known that he would one day play for the Sharks but seems to have changed his mind in the meantime and now supports the Bulls.
“They (Kevin and Nathan) both hope to one day wear the blue jersey with pride and also have kids with big dreams in their eyes look up to them… I can’t thank you guys enough for this great experience” Coleen added.
A truly unforgettable experience and one that will be with them forever.
