The NSW Waratahs and Ricoh Australia today announced a partnership that will see the company feature prominently on match day, with jersey sponsorship and grass signage at home games.

Ricoh will occupy the collar position of the 2015 jersey which will be unveiled next year at the season launch, and worn in the first home match of the season – the Round 1 clash against the Western Force on Sunday February 15.

NSW Waratahs CEO Jason Allen said the partnership was an exciting development for the club, which has enjoyed a remarkable year so far.

“To have an international industry leader like Ricoh on board with us really reflects how well we are travelling,” Allen said.

“Our club culture of hard work and excellence really resonates with high performing brands like Ricoh, and there is a lot of synergy between us.

“Their commitment to us is extremely exciting, and we’re looking forward to a fruitful partnership.”

John Hall, Managing Director, Ricoh Australia, said “Ricoh has a strong tradition of supporting sporting associations, both locally in Australia and also in Europe and other parts of Asia. The NSW Waratahs are a great embodiment of Ricoh’s core values around winning spirit, teamwork and collaboration and we look forward to a great season ahead!”

The NSW Waratahs head into the 2015 season as reigning Super Rugby champions, and have capitalised on the momentum of the incredible success of 2014 off the field as well, signing a record number of new partnerships for the upcoming year.
