Watch the Lions and Springboks in Emirates Airline Park

Loading...Supporters of the Xerox Golden Lions attending the game against the Cell C Sharks at Emirates Airline Park on Saturday 19 September will be able to watch the Springboks in their World Cup opener against Japan in the stadium on the Big Screen after the Lions match while having a braai in the specially allocated Weber area.
The GLRU together with Weber have gone the extra mile to ensure that their supporters don’t miss a minute of World Cup action while still supporting the Xerox Golden Lions. Braai packs will be sold for the braai so there is no need to bring anything to the stadium. The Weber braai area will be on the South stand inside the stadium and there will also be bar facilities in that corner of the field. This is a first for any rugby stadium to have braai facilities inside the stadium so make sure to come and join us for a day full of rugby.
The band Rubberduc will perform on stage while supporters will be able to enjoy the Springboks’ Wolrd Cup game and the festivities on the field. During this time six primary school clinic teams will be in action on the field from 16:40.
A signing session on the field with the Lions players will take place from 17:15 – 17:45.
Please note that people staying for the braai will be able to bring their vehicles closer to the stadium after the game. Security will direct them.
Kyk die Leeus en die Springbokke in Emirates Airline Park
Xerox Goue Leeus ondersteuners kan Saterdag 19 September na afloop van die Curriebekerwedstryd teen die Cell C Sharks in die stadion na die Springbokke se openingswedstryd teen die Japan op die grootskerm kyk terwyl hulle in die spesiale Weber-area braai.
Die GLRU en Weber het uit hul pad gegaan om dit vir hul ondersteuners moontlik te maak om nie ‘n minuut van Wereldbekeraksie mis te loop nie. Braaipakke sal na afloop van die Leeus se wedstryd in die stadion verkoop word. Weber se braai-area sal aan die suidelike kant binne-in die stadion opgerig wees en ‘n kroeg sal ook in daardie hoek van die veld beskikbaar wees. Dit is die eerste keer ooit dat daar binne-in ‘n rugbystadion gebraai gaan word so maak seker om by ons aan te sluit vir ‘n dag vol rugby.
Die musiekgroep Rubberduc sal van 16:45 af op ‘n verhoog vir musiek sorg terwyl ses Onder 12-spanne van die Goue Leeus se kliniekspanne ook op die veld in aksie gaan wees.
‘n Handtekeningsessie met die Leeus-spelers sal tussen 17:15 – 17:45 op die veld plaasvind.
Neem kennis dat mense wat bly vir die braai hul motors sal kan nader trek na afloop van die wedstryd. Sekuriteit sal aanwysings gee.
