Spingbok emblemVodacom Blue Bulls centre Wynand Olivier has withdrawn from the preliminary training camp for the Springbok end-of-year tour because of injury. Olivier informed Springbok coach Peter de Villiers on Wednesday morning that he required immediate surgery on a groin injury. Olivier will not be available for selection for the four-Test tour.

The revised training group is as followers (overseas-based players were not considered for the camp):
