Round Seven of the Buildcorp NRC saw more attacking Rugby with 38 tries scored across the round. Three teams now sit on 16 competition points behind the Melbourne Rising and Charles Sturt University NSW Country Eagles (in positions three to five), making the run into the finals very competitive.

Round Eight kicks off this Thursday night with Macquarie University North Harbour Rays hosting McInnes Wilson Lawyers Brisbane City at Brookvale Oval in Sydney. The match will be broadcast LIVE at 7.30pm on FOX SPORTS 2 & 2HD.

Citing

University of Canberra hooker Seilala Lam has been cited for alleged dangerous tackling during their Round 7 Buildcorp National Rugby Championship match against the Macquarie University North Harbour Rays at Viking Park on Thursday night.

The alleged incident occurred in the 66th minute of the second half.

Lam has been cited under law 10.4 (e).

His hearing will be held at 5.30pm today (Tuesday, 7 October 2014). The outcome will be advised after the conclusion of the hearing.
