Captain Ryan Nell named Cavaliers Player of the Year 2016

Loading...RYAN NELL, captain of Boland’s 2016 Currie Cup team, was named Boland Cavaliers Player of the Year during last night’s (Monday 3 October 2016) awards evening, held at the Riebeek Valley hotel in Riebeek Wes.
Nell, who plays centre for the Cavaliers, lead the team to Premier Division promotion, after the team finished third after the Qualifying stages of the Currie Cup competition.
Adriaan Carelse (Fly half / Fullback) was named Player’s Player of the Year.
Zandré Jordaan (Eighth man) and Christopher Bosch (centre) was named forward and back of the year respectively.
The Young Player of the Year award went to Kenan Cronje (Flank) and Most Improved Player of the Year went to Chadley Wenn (hooker).
