DHL Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has released an injury update after Saturday’s 22-15 Super Rugby win over the Sharks in Cape Town.

Hooker Deon Fourie (concussion) is the only injury worry from the weekend, but he will be fit for his team’s opening game of their four-match tour of New Zealand and Australia (against the Hurricanes on April 26).

The following players are back to fitness – after missing the Sharks game – and will come in for contention for the DHL Stormers’ tour:
– Hooker Scarra Ntubeni (shoulder – first game of the tour)
– Flank Rynhardt Elstadt (shoulder – first game)
– Wing Bryan Habana (knee – first game)
– Lock Eben Etzebeth (ankle – second game of the tour)
– Flyhalf Elton Jantjies (knee – second game)

The following players – who also missed the Sharks game – are selection doubts for the tour:
– Lock/flank Don Armand (intercostal rib muscle injury)
– Wing Gerhard van den Heever (knee)

The 26-man DHL Stormers touring squad will be announced this Friday afternoon. The squad will depart for Australasia on Saturday.

ALLISTER COETZEE QUOTES:

“It’s great to see the long list of players returning from injury – especially when one considers how many players we’ve been without of late.

“Scarra, Rynhardt and Bryan will all come straight back into the selection frame for the first game on tour against the Hurricanes and Eben and Elton will be available from the second game onwards.

“The bye has come at a good time for us this week. The guys have a few days off and we’ll have our first (and only) session of the week on Friday, before we fly overseas on Saturday.”

THE DHL STORMERS’ TOUR ITINERARY:
v Hurricanes (FMG Stadium, Palmerston North) – Friday, April 26
v Blues (North Harbour Stadium, Albany) – Friday, May 3
v Waratahs (Allianz Stadium, Sydney) – Saturday, May 11
v Rebels (AAMI Park, Melbourne) – Friday, May 17
