MTN Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has announced his side to take on The Sharks at Ellis Park this Friday evening.

Ackermann has made just two changes to his starting side for the ABSA Currie Cup round eight clash.

In the forwards, Chris van Zyl will start at lock, while Warren Whiteley has recovered from his hip injury and will start at eighthman.

The backline remains unchanged.

Meanwhile, on the bench, Willie Britz has recovered from his shoulder strain and will provide cover. Grant Janke has also been drafted in on the wood.
