Oceania Rugby U20s Championship to be streamed LIVE

Loading...Fans from across the Oceania region and the world will be able to watch the next generation of professional Rugby players in the Oceania Rugby U20s Championship with the entire tournament to be streamed LIVE through www.rugby.com.au and Oceania Rugby.
Kicking off later this week on Friday 28 April, fans will be able to watch every minute of every game through www.rugby.com.au and www.oceaniarugby.com as all three rounds of the tournament unfold between Australia, New Zealand, Samoa and Fiji over the next week and a half.
Now in its third year, the Oceania Rugby U20s Championship will be held at Bond University on the Gold Coast, with New Zealand looking to defend their two-year winning streak at the Championship.
This is the first time the Oceania Rugby U20s Championship has featured four nations from the region and is the first time Fiji U20s have taken part in the competition.
The tournament will once again be produced by BAR TV Sports, who remain committed to their connection with grassroots, following record viewership numbers with the Super Under 20s Rugby Championships this season.
World Rugby, Rugby Service Manager, Bruce Cook said: “We are really excited to allow people from all over the world to watch these games live as national pride goes on the line between Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa.
“The standard of this competition has continued to grow every year and is an important part of Oceania’s preparation heading into the World Rugby U20s Championship in Georgia this June.
“It’s great to have Fiji as a part of the tournament and I know their players will relish the opportunity to take on their regional rivals for the first time.”
ARU National Performance Programs Manager, Adrian Thompson said: “The Australian Rugby Union is very proud to host this competition and we appreciate Oceania Rugby’s investment in this program for the development of players in our region.
“We know there is a great interest in the Australia U20s from around the country and broadcasting the tournament will allow fans everywhere to watch the next generation of Australian players take on their peers from Oceania.”
