The Cell C Sharks take on Western Province at DHL Newlands in our last pool match of the group stages of the Absa Currie Cup tournament. Despite a playoff spot already guaranteed, the Cell C Sharks are determined to display a strong showing in Cape Town so that they continue to build momentum going into the playoff week.
Ahead of this weekend’s match, Dr Alan Kourie, the Cell C Sharks Team Doctor, has released a medical update on Paul Jordaan and Kyle Cooper.
Name of Player Injury
Paul Jordaan – Fracture dislocation on hip;
– Has undergone surgery;
– Out for approximately six months.
Kyle Cooper – Ankle injury;
– Out for a week and is therefore unavailable for selection.
We look forward to a titanic battle at DHL Newlands this Saturday.
