Visagie out, Odendaal ready

Hooker Jaco Visagie will miss Friday’s Absa Currie Cup clash against the EP Kings at Loftus Versfeld due to an ankle sprain, Vodacom Blue Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, confirmed on Monday.

Visagie picked up the injury in last weekend’s win over the Cell C Sharks in Durban and is the only casualty from that match.

Midfielder Burger Odendaal, who left the field in the second half, only has a knee contusion and will train again onTuesday, as will Deon Stegmann, Justin Forwood and Dean Greyling who have minor ailments.

Dan Kriel, who played for the Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21s on Friday, has a hip-pointer injury and will only be back on the field on Thursday.

The long term injury list remains unchanged.
